myAadhaar: Login, Download eAadhaar, Update & PVC Card – Complete Guide

myAadhaar is UIDAI’s unified portal for residents to manage Aadhaar online—login with OTP, download eAadhaar PDF, order PVC, verify mobile/email, generate VID, lock/unlock Aadhaar, track update status, book appointments and more. This page explains everything clearly with direct links and safety tips.

myAadhaar Overview

myAadhaar is the simplified, resident-facing dashboard that brings the most important Aadhaar services under one login. With OTP-based access tied to your registered mobile, you can download your eAadhaar instantly, order a secure PVC card, update address via SSUP, verify contact details, generate a Virtual ID (VID), lock/unlock Aadhaar, and monitor the status of requests—all online.

Single Sign-In

One OTP login unlocks key services—no need to re-enter details on every step. Keep your registered mobile active for seamless access.

Self-Service First

Wherever possible, myAadhaar lets you finish tasks online. For biometrics or complex corrections, you can book a slot at a center.

Privacy Controls

Generate VID, download masked eAadhaar, and lock/unlock Aadhaar to reduce data exposure and improve safety in everyday use.

TIP: Bookmark myAadhaar and use it directly instead of search results to avoid fake or phishing sites.

How to Login to myAadhaar

Login is OTP-based. You need your Aadhaar or VID and the mobile number registered with UIDAI.

2. Enter Aadhaar/VID and the captcha; request OTP.
3. Enter OTP to access your dashboard.
4. From the dashboard, pick services like Download, PVC, Update, Verify contact, Generate VID, etc.

If OTP not received: Check network and DND status, confirm your mobile is registered; try again after a minute or verify/update your mobile on the portal.

Download eAadhaar PDF (UID/VID/EID)

eAadhaar is a digitally signed PDF accepted as valid identity proof. You can download using Aadhaar (UID), Virtual ID (VID) or Enrolment ID (EID).

1. Login at myAadhaar.
2. Choose Download Aadhaar, select UID/VID/EID and verify with OTP.
3. Download PDF. Password = first four letters of your name (CAPS) + birth year (YYYY). Example: RAVI1990.
4. For privacy, use the Masked eAadhaar option which hides the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar.

Good to know: The PDF carries a verifiable digital signature and secure QR; you can validate it in a modern PDF reader.

Order Aadhaar PVC Card

PVC is a wallet-friendly card with hologram, ghost image, microtext and secure QR. It can be ordered online from the portal.

Order Online

Use Aadhaar/VID/EID, verify with OTP, confirm delivery address, pay the fee and track dispatch updates.

Lock Aadhaar when not needed; unlock temporarily to authenticate. Reduces risk of misuse.
